School Feeding Program

feedingWe are cognizant of the challenges school-aged children face due to malnutrition and the effects it has on their cognitive functioning. This program is therefore designed not only to increase the benefit of education in rural communities, but to address micronutrient deficiencies in school-aged children and improve their cognitive development.

Our feeding program initially started in the East Region in Balka pygmy inhabited village of Molobo. There we provided hot meals at a school in a bid to encourage school enrollment for all children. This program is also being run in Buea, in the South West Region.

We work closely with the local communities who assist in preparing and serving meals.

We are equally looking forward to starting community vegetable farms to complement the nutritive value of the meals.
